You've got your Dream Destination. It's big. It's juicy. And it's probably also scary!
It is scary to really, really want something, but not know how you'll get there, or when, or who will help you along the way. It's natural to experience some discomfort when you're not yet fully lined up with your dream. And so, I want to congratulate you on being one of the few who are bold enough to go there: Most people are so unable or unwilling to experience the discomfort of uncertainty that they refuse to acknowledge wanting anything beyond "a little bit more than I've got". And in so doing they condemn themselves to a lifetime of Driving Hard - often in circles - mistakenly taking the busy-ness of their journey, the miles they cover, and even their utter exhaustion as signs of progress. I speak from experience. I Drove Hard for years!
So, if effortless and abundant success is what you want, you're on the right track. I invite you take out your Travel Log, and read once again what you've written. Notice the 'mental movie' that begins to play. Allow your imagination to fill in even more fully all of the wonderful details of your ideal experience. What can you see? What can you hear? Who's there with you? How does it feel? Anything goes!
Now, just for fun, make the movie brighter and the colours more vivid. Allow the screen to move closer and expand to panoramic. Add in 'surround sound' and pop on those 3-D glasses! Do whatever it takes to make the movie bigger, brighter and more beautiful - and notice what happens to how you feel...
Have fun with this, any spare moment you find. Waiting in traffic, standing in line, letting your lunch settle. Bask in the pure positive anticipation of your future effortless success!
By being willing to identify you Dream Destination, without any guarantees, you just set yourself on a new course. You are now creating your future from your future and not from your past. And once you really line yourself up with your dream, I promise you, any discomfort you experience from now on will be minor when compared to a lifetime of Driving Hard...
