This morning, a friend posted the following 'Status Update' on Facebook: "Saw a sign in the bus station today. It said, 'One bus takes 35 cars off the road.' Personally, I think it depends how aggressive the driver is..."
I laughed out loud, left an appreciative comment, and returned to my work with a smile on my face and renewed enthusiasm. Suddenly, the pile of Monday Morning Tasks awaiting my attention seemed smaller and more manageable, and just minutes later I had an idea for a long-overdue blog post...! ;-)
As today's quote (below) reminds us, laughter is the great 'shock absorber' of life! It supports your health by massaging your vital organs and causing you to breathe more deeply. It supports your sense of wellbeing by flooding your brain with endorphins and other 'happy chemicals'. It supports your creativity by engaging the right side of your brain and drawing in oodles of brain-boosting oxygen. And, perhaps most importantly, it supports your good-feeling relationships, at work and beyond; the more you share it, the more it comes back to you, and everybody wins...
Why not use the comments box, below, to share a joke, a funny memory or whatever made you laugh today? Because, if effortless success is your aim, life is far too important to be taken seriously...!
"Laughter is to life what shock absorbers are to automobiles. It won't take the potholes out of the road, but it sure makes the ride smoother." Barbara Johnson

Very, very nicely done!
